Lacey Act declarations
The first phase of electronic declarations is underway, having started on Apr. 1st, 2009. The paper declaration, which remains as an alternative to electronic filing, is now available on the USDA APHIS website. As of the Feb. 3rd edition of the Federal Register, the phase-in schedule has been substantially modified. The phase-in periods have been lengthened, and the scope of affected items has been narrowed. Refer to the Learning Center for greater detail. (Link)
